Patriot Gaming’s Steve Butler to Retire After 46 Years in Gaming Industry
GRIFFITH, INDIANA — DECEMBER 2ND, 2025 — Patriot Gaming & Electronics is both pained and pleased to announce the well-deserved retirement of Steve Butler, Southern Territory Sales Manager. Steve has been with Patriot for six years but brought forty-six years of industry experience and a plethora of knowledge to the company.
Butler’s favorite part of working in the industry has been seeing it grow. “It was always changing for the better. It intrigued me and kept me interested,” explained Butler. “I loved working for Patriot. Mark Komorowski is a prince of a guy, always upbeat and supportive. The Patriot team is the best.”
In 2026, Patriot Gaming & Electronics will be celebrating its 24th year in business and has gone through many transformations as technology and demand have evolved in the gaming industry. That longevity is rooted in the great customer service by the Patriot Gaming team, notably Steve Butler.

Butler plans to take advantage of his retirement by spending time with his family, traveling, golf, and doing volunteer work. His exit leaves a void in the Southern Territory, but filling those shoes will be Danny Trivits. Trivits has been with Patriot for three years and has over twenty years of industry experience working with multiple casino properties in providing their slot machine part needs.
